1. Tell us a little bit about yourself Alfie
I’m Alfie Fletcher, Junior Financial Planning Administrator at Fox Lifestyle Financial Planning. I support the team with the day-to-day administration that helps keep everything running smoothly for our clients. I’m enjoying learning more about financial planning, building my knowledge, and taking on new responsibilities as I gain experience in the role.
2. What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy the variety of the role and the fact that no two days are the same. I like taking on different tasks, facing new challenges, and building my responsibilities as I gain experience. I also really enjoy meeting clients and getting to know them as individuals.
3. When you’re not working, what do you enjoy doing?
Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active by going to the gym, playing football and padel, and watching football – especially Preston North End. I also love travelling and experiencing new places whenever I can.
4. Tell us something people might be surprised to learn about you.
I spent two months solo travelling around South-East Asia after leaving college at 18. It opened my eyes to the world, gave me a real sense of perspective, and taught me to appreciate the opportunities we often take for granted. I also gained a lot of confidence and made memories that will last a lifetime.
5. What’s one piece of financial advice you live by?
I think being younger gives me a slightly different financial outlook on life. Money should help you live a life you enjoy. While it’s important to plan for the future, it’s just as important to make the most of the present and live life to the fullest. Money can be earned again, but time is something we never get back.
